Coming from a family of musicians in the Pacific Northwest, Cedar creates music from a place of joy- whether it’s performing live, songwriting, or doing session work on piano or guitar. His most recent adventure was to convert a van into a tiny home/recording studio so he could take his creative process on the road. This resulted in an extended journey around the USA, during which time he wrote and produced his first EP, “Coming Home” which was released on Oct. 25th, 2024. Drawing on influences ranging from the song craft of The Beatles to the groove of the Talking Heads to the guitar chops of Stevie Ray Vaughn, he blends genres to produce radio-friendly tracks full of arresting hooks and lush instrumentation, and isn’t afraid to take a solo here and there.
